UCLA B’s Billy Peir might be the best player in College Dev Ultimate

CSU B’s Kyle Finkel is an animal downfield

Alright I’m a bit biased here but I need to shout out some absolute dawgs on the cal poly slobs

Brandon Howell is a perfect Swiss Army knife and can change the game playing any position. Will spend most of the game throwing pinpoint pulls into the back of the end zone, locking up the opponents best handlers and cutters, and making all the right decisions as a handler, only to switch to an o-line cutter and put his defender in a blender.

Jack Toyama is not only a premiere athlete and high IQ player, he does it with an absurd amount of aura. Not many guys have the versatility he does to go every other from anywhere on the field, and even less are this nonchalant about it.

Wyatt Barnes will make any play asked of him. Skying a defender 4 inches taller than him, full extension layout catches, huge blocks, perfect hucks, everything. If you think he doesn’t have a play, chances are you’re wrong.

Daniel Monge is an unstoppable force on offense and forces insane pressure on defense. If he is within 15 yards of the disc, you cannot stop him from getting open. Combined with his patient looks, he can completely open up the field and acts as a perfect safety valve.

Zachary “Silver” Wallpe has long been a standout thrower and defender, but he has recently expanded his game as a precise route runner. He has also excelled as a captain this year and has pushed the team to strive for even better.

Don’t sleep on Henrik Zhang(#6, UCLA). Has a lightning quick first step and the best backhand around in the region. Also is a lockdown defender assigned with eliminating the opposing team’s best player from the game.

Billy Peir (UCLA) is the tuffest b-teamer in the world. Vivek Punn (UCLA) is also super tuff. Henrik Zhang (UCLA) is mega tuff.

Tufts B captain here. Although we didn’t have our best sectionals, I think the northeast developmental region knows that we are a perennial dev contender, especially given our really successful regular season. We couldn’t have done it without:
Ryan Kadet: a handler demon posessed. 3-year A team for a reason.
Zach Snyder: Ran the D-line show, unguardable upline, will break your mark
Pierce Clark & Charlie Bielawa: two stalwarts in the cutter space

Other teams:
Bryce Jacobs, Brown B
Kavi McKinney, Northeastern B
Tall dude on umass B
UVM B pit viper captain

We can’t have a ROTY conversation without talking about Joe Chippetta from Cal Poly SLOBs. Honestly the Gigi Buffon of Dev frisbee. The future is bright in the Southwest

Layne Sutton is the one of the best developmental players the region has ever seen. He will dunk on your A team. Cannot throw a flick if there is more than 10 mph of wind. Can throw a backhand 80 yards, has monster pulls, and hell of an athlete. It is too bad, he didnt have enough units to play spring season.

Bunch of DAWGS that I have played with/against:

UMass dev squad:
Caleb Bird-Richards - defensive dawg and will layout for everything. Will take your ankles as well.
Cedar Noonan - super solid handler who has some of the craziest improvement ever in the past couple years.
Tim Corkery - Super solid defender and just good all around. Does all the little things right. Super beast.
Max Schneider - Super crazy handler super fast and hard to guard. Breaks are a little strange but incredibly effective.

UVM dev:
Linus Talbot - good defender and good in the air. See you at Brat pickup soon big dawg!

This is Elliot (#85 on Northeastern B), and here are some of my dev team shoutouts

NorthBeastern:
Awesome team full of handsome, charming players all around. I love everyone on the team.

Big ups to Sean Wilson (#4), Kavi McKinney (#18), and Dev Shah (#1) for being super consistent motors of the offense

Austin Weiss (#87), Bennet Hartley (#33), and Vinay Venkatesh (#18) for being some of our most impactful and inspirational D-Line dogs.

Tylder Goldner (#10), this dude bailed us all out so many times, super underrated, super sneaky, super impactful all-around player.

Brady Horgan (#??) Most improved, with or without the mittens

Chrih tha rookie (#22) super flexible, dependable player, probably crossed over lines the most, and was consistently impactful on both sides of the ball. Potentially holds the record for most rookie of the year wins.

Devin Mitchell (#19) best snaps in the game, no doubt about it.

Dhill
Team of studs no other way to put it.

James and Matthew Owen are probably some of the most dynamic athletes in the conference (roll canes)

Evan #10 was one of the best matchup defenders I played this season, very nice dude too.

#88 I forget your name, but a strong, dynamic hybrid, tough matchup for sure.

A dialed-in Drew Leutz (#6) huck is a scary sight; he keeps getting better, and his on-field outfits keep getting zanier, go canes.

ZooDev
Why are they all named max

Max Schneider, good, speedy handler, tough cover for sure
Max Gledhill, visionary deep looker, should have played more in our game lowkey
Max Doisneau, led the division in number of shoulders dislocated. Stop getting hurt please
Zach Guswa, absolutely acrimonious bids, super spirited

Definitely more ballers on this team, but these are the guys I know best

Brown B
I do not know anyone on this team personally, but they were good

#7 was huge as a cutter
#34 ate up our zone easy peasy, good handler
#1 was a big threat with or without the ball

Northeastern C
Devil magic flows through this team, do not sleep on the chuskies
The devil magic is, of course, being channeled by Michael Gold.

Micheal from Northeastern C… what a player.
