We’re solidly into the first leg of the 2025 professional disc golf season, so it seems a bit early to be talking about the offseason again already. But there are lots of players in contract years, including some high-profile names in the FPO division, which adds a bit of extra sizzle to the season.
Below, we’re going to name the top 10 biggest “free agents” who are up for new sponsorship deals at the end of the 2025 season.

10. Ohn Scoggins [Innova]
2024 DGPT Finish: 4th
2025 Standings: 3rd
Ohn Scoggins is an absolute dawg. She’s the second-highest rated player in FPO behind Kristin Lätt and continues to put up amazing results year after year, despite being solidly into her FP40 eligibility window. Her precise flex shots and elite putting have kept her more than relevant, even on longer courses. And she’s arguably still getting better — she won two events in 2024, including the highest-rated event performance of all-time in FPO at the Open at Austin, after winning her first tour event in 2023. Why just #10 on this list? It seems very unlikely a player like Ohn would be looking to make a bag switch at her age and with the success she’s had with Innova. Injury concerns have also followed her for two seasons now. But a company looking to market more to an older demographic could find a great ambassador in Ohn.

9. Evan Smith [Dynamic Discs]
2024 DGPT Finish: 22nd
2025 Standings: 11th
Could this be the year Evan Smith really breaks out? He made the move from Clash to DD this offseason, and he could be looking to keep moving up in the world. He’s the 12th highest-rated player in the world, but he’s easily the least talked about. Some of that is fair: he’s still new to the scene and hasn’t necessarily flashed the top end results you need to be a mainstay on coverage. Still, if he has a strong year and finishes inside the top 10 on the season or wins an event, he could fly up these rankings. He’s already sitting 11 spots higher in the standings and had a podium finish at WACO.
8. Henna Blomroos [Innova]
2024 DGPT Finish: 9th
2025 Standings: 6th
Henna is on an expiring long-term deal with Innova. Despite her obvious putting woes, she has still been a clear top 10 player for multiple seasons now. The problem is that wins have eluded her, mostly due to that inability to close out tournaments with the putter. Still, there’s almost no player more fun to watch throw backhands, and the European market is growing swiftly. Maybe a change of scenery could help her find some rhythm on the green, which could quickly turn her into a multi-time winner.

7. Chris Dickerson [Discraft]
2024 DGPT Finish: 9th
2025 Standings: 13th
Chris Dickerson is one of the few Major winners who will be available to sign a new deal at the end of 2025. While he hasn’t been as productive as a player in the last two years, it could be a ‘buy the dip’ opportunity for the right manufacturer — if they can manage to pry him away from Discraft, who’s clearly out in front in the sponsorship market. Considering he’s turning 32 this year, it may not be an opportunity for him to sign a bigger deal than what he’s currently got.

6. Rebecca Cox [Latitude 64]
2024 DGPT Finish: 11th
2025 Standings: 9th
My pick for most improved player last year keeps showing glimpses of getting even better. She just fired off a 1035-rated round at WACO two weeks ago, setting both a new course record and a career best round rating. Pairing great course management skills with ever-improving consistency and putting, Cox has climbed towards being one of the best players without a DGPT or Major win on tour. She could be a very interesting pickup in the endorsement market, especially if she keeps getting better.

5. Kat Mertsch [Innova]
2024 DGPT Finish: 7th
2025 Standings: 8th
Kat oozes personality, and even if her offbeat style isn’t for everyone, it’s made her a lot of fans: she’s got almost 50,000 followers on Instagram, way above than most on this list. Her golf game is strong, too: she’s been top 10 at 50% of the Elites and Majors she’s played since 2021 and can put on a show on the putting green when she’s dialed. She’s been sponsored by Innova for years now, so a move away may not be likely, but the Mertschinator could generate some buzz — and royalties — if she did make a move.

4. Eveliina Salonen [Innova]
2024 DGPT Finish: 5th
2025 Standings: 7th
The 2024 World Champion has her multi-year Innova contract running up at the end of the season and has enhanced her standing after a career-best season last year. At just 25 years old, Salonen has plenty of prime years ahead of her, and she seems like the most marketable European FPO player behind Kristin given her combination of on-course success, Finnish heritage, radiant positivity, and elite tier throws. Salonen continues to have some challenges on the putting green, but she’s stepped up noticeably in the last year. She was a target for multiple manufacturers back when she signed her deal ahead of the 2023 season; expect similar this time around.

3. Adam Hammes [Discraft]
2024 DGPT Finish: 16th
2025 Standings: 1st
Are we seeing the signs of a leveling up from Adam Hammes? The four-time winner on tour is one of just two players (along with Calvin Heimburg) to finish inside the top 10 at each of the first three DGPT events this season. And, of course, he outdueled Heimburg, Simon Lizotte, Anthony Barela, and Paul McBeth to win WACO earlier this month. Hammes has looked a lot more consistent to start 2025, and he’s bumped his stat profile up across the board. With an elite forehand and over 30% C2 putting, Hammes clearly has the tools to be a top 5 player on tour — is this the year he makes it a reality?

2. Holyn Handley [Discraft]
2024 DGPT Finish: 2nd
2025 Standings: 1st
Holyn Handley has gotten better every single year she’s competed on tour coming out of COVID. She finished 2nd in the points standings last season, despite not even traveling over to Europe. The only way to keep the trend going is to finish 1st in 2025. It’s possible: she’s the (yes, way too early) front-runner for Player of the Year after starting the season going 2nd / 2nd / 1st, with the win at the Open at Austin coming head-to-head with Kristin down the stretch. Handley has become the better putter than Lätt, and while her approach game is still inconsistent (especially relative to Kristin), she’s arguably the more versatile thrower on both sides. There’s a real chance we’re seeing the emergence of a new #1 player in FPO, and she’s going to be a hot commodity in the sponsorship market at the end of this year.

1. Kristin Latt [Latitude 64]
2024 DGPT Finish: 3rd
2025 Standings: 4th
All that said about Holyn Handley above, it’s still all hypothetical. What is true right now is that Kristin Lätt is the best player we’ve ever seen in FPO, eclipsing a 1000 rating, sweeping the Majors in 2023, and continuing to dominate at the highest level for years now. She is also one of the most popular players in the sport and arguably the most famous, with Nike Estonia campaigns featuring her and non-stop appearances on disc golf media coverage. She has the most Instagram followers among FPO players (by a lot) at over 133,000, and simply has the air of a professional athlete that you don’t get from everyone in disc golf. She sells a huge number of discs, outpacing everyone in disc golf besides Simon Lizotte last year, according to the 2024 Fandom Survey. It’s rare that we see a disc golfer of this sponsorship caliber reach “free agency” — it could be an epic bidding war if Latitude 64 doesn’t work out a deal before the end of the year.
