Bradley Williams, the PDGA’s 14th ranked player, has been suspended for 18 months, according to the governing body’s Current Disciplinary Actions page.
The suspension begins today and ends on March 7, 2018. It also includes 18 months of probation once the suspension is completed.
While the PDGA website does not give specific reasons for the discipline, it is believed to have stemmed from an incident at last month’s Ledgestone Open. Sources have told Ultiworld Disc Golf that Williams was involved in an altercation with another player, and the Disc Golf Pro Tour’s Steve Dodge alluded to Williams’ possible discipline during a Facebook live chat in the days following the event.
Ultiworld Disc Golf has reached out to both Williams and the PDGA for comment.
Williams had previously been on probation after a 2015 suspension for unsportsmanlike conduct.
