Ricky Wysocki and Catrina Allen cleaned up overseas this weekend, as both collected drama-free wins at the Estonian Open.
Wysocki’s 31-under par 166 for the weekend featured a single bogey and average round ratings of greater than 1050. He also hit a whopping 97 percent of his putts inside the 10-meter circle. Finland’s Juho Parviainen was five off the pace in second place at a 26-under par 171, with Paul Ulibarri (-21), Tomas Rosenqvist (-17), Will Schusterick (-16), and Seppo Paju (-16) comprising the rest of the Top 5.
Allen’s 4-under par 193 constituted an obliteration of the rest of the women’s field, as her nearest rival - Eveliina Salonen, who handed Allen her first loss of 2016 at the Tali Open in May - finished with a 15-over par 212 for the event. Ragna Bygde Lewis came in third at 17-over, while Henna Blomroos’ 25-over and Anne Kettunen’s 29-over were good for fourth and fifth place.
Wysocki will try and parlay consecutive victories into a full-blown winning streak at the European Masters - a PDGA Major and the fourth stop on the Disc Golf World Tour - beginning Thursday in Stockholm, Sweden.
