Tristan Tanner Throws More Than 1000 Feet
On a breezy day in Colorado, Tristan Tanner went out into a field and did something big.
According to Tanner and his UDisc stats, the up-and-comer was able to max out a driver at 1,019 feet, just 90 feet shy of David Wiggins Jr.’s seemingly untouchable world distance record. Tanner said he had a 25 mph tailwind and was using a Latitude 64 Gold Line Ballista Pro. Wiggins was out in the desert with consistent 40 mph winds and a lightweight Innova R-Pro Boss.
Any user of UDisc knows the distances, while fairly accurate, are not precise. Tanner did say he had several other throws eclipse the 900-foot mark which makes the four digit mark more believable.
