Hard to say for other teams, as we haven’t seen any of them except for at conference champs, however certain standout players on UNCA women’s team include: Allison Bashford (All Freshmen)(All region), Andi Reinman (All region), Bailey Parton (All Region), and Gracie Nicklas-Morris (All Region). Allison is a strong, experienced player who hails from the triangle’s YCC program. She is an integral handler who has movement that is vital to the teams offense. As a Freshmen, she has quickly earned her spot as a key dynamic player for the Hellbenders. Andi is a first year ultimate player who stands out in her defensive ability as well as holds the role of a key cutter. Leading the team in D’s, Andi is a player that consistently makes shit happen when needed. She is well rounded and heavily relied upon on D and on O.
