Ayumi Yuzawa and Olivia Black have been phenomenal initiating cutters for Mary Wash, driving the O and D lines respectively. Ellie Heil’s decision making and throwing skill has been essential to our offense, and Chloe Wade is athletically dominant and puts up great hucks. While not a Freshman, Nat Brennan has had an excellent rookie year as a dependable and creative handler.
Trench, Richmond’s captain, was a big threat with the disc, and Catholic’s MaryEileen McDermott is a top tier athlete and definite all-freshman candidate.
Correction: Trench is also a strong player for Catholic; Richmond’s #18 is their thrower.
