A coach I’d like to recognize is Skyler Jones of the Utah State Aggies. This was his first season coaching these girls and he did an outstanding jobs. They were short on numbers throughout the whole season, never having more than 10, and he was able to get some impressive wins out of them. This was also the first year that their team has ever qualified for regionals. With being short on numbers, they played very well in their conference matchups, only losing on Sunday playing with less than 6 players. At regionals, they stayed very competitive and I attribute that to coach Jones and his attitude towards this season. The women’s team has always been short on numbers but have never had quite the success that they had this season.
