Nora (UWEC SOL) coach weighing in to highlight some of our players! I could ramble about the talents of all SOLmates, but will focus on just a handful here.
Layla Lemley (handler, #0), aka “Layla from Twitter” has to be in the conversation - her hucks, commanding presence, and savvy defense are game-changing for SOL. Plus, gotta love the on-field banter, right? Handler Stevie Harper (#42) is an absolute grinder with amazing layouts and speedy defense, and they seemingly never get tired!
Cutters Sarah Heuss (#8), Grace Dube (#30), and Anna Benishek (#20) are all huge threats attacking both the under and deep spacs and have been known to take charge when needed.
Soccer stud and cutter Nola Millar Bruzek (#23) should be in the conversation for All-Freshmen. She’s super speedy, has amazing footwork, and is overall cracked.
