#5 is Ty Riemer (he should be considered for freshman of the year)
#12 is Jonathan Holladay.

Kenni here!
I think the all region team should be
Chris youngblood
Jonathan silivant
Bradley Flemming
Aidan Downey
Scott whitley
Adam Miller
Luke Thomas
Freshman of the year should be
Ty from auburn
Most of these people have already been described so I’m not gonna repeat anyone.
I will say Chris Youngblood is a very important part of UAH offense but tends to get overlooked but is always open and a mismatch against any team!!
As a Tulane player, here is my All Region Team
Aidan Downey (UGA)
Jake Powell (UGA)
Jonathan Silivant (UAH)
Kenni Taylor (UAH)
Sam Davies (#23, Tulane) He is the most athletic person as soon as he steps on the field at all times, doesn’t matter what team he’s playing or who he’s matched up on, he’s winning the matchup. An animal in the deep space and when crossed to D line, clamped a #1 option.
Adam Grossberg (GTech)
Andre Dumez (#17, Tulane) Andre switched from D to O line for regionals when Charlie Smith tore his meniscus, and absolutely destroyed defenses, zone or man, with his throwing and speed, and allowed the Tucks to place third in the region despite losing a key player.
But more importantly, Southeast Freshman of the year should undoubtedly be Micah Wagner (#5, Tulane) He made the USA U20 national team. In a region with teams like UAH and UGA dominated by seniors, 5th, and 6th years, as a freshman he was an absolutely critical factor on both sides of the disc. Tons of Layout Ds, destroyed zones as a popper and dominates the deep space.
Most of the people I would mention have been mentioned a ton already so gonna skip that part
But I am gonna back Ben Forton as Freshman of the year on Alabama. Forton on Oline was drawing really tough matchups since he was the tallest one and was still able to perform at a high level. Ben would often be a key part of the initiation of the Offense and is just able to effortlessly rip a full field huck.
As an UAH Player here is my All Region Team
UTK Player here:
We primarily play tournaments against Atlantic coast region so we didn’t get to play most of our region this year.
I have to shout out Sam Good.
He has +100 plus-minus on our stats this season. Absolute monster in the air, incredible handler/ downfield defense, and he was second on our team in assists behind our central handler.
He is currently rostered with the Indianapolis Alleycats and played Tanasi last season.
He is without a doubt a top-seven player in the region. Sad other Regional talent didn’t get to see him play. His Callahan Video will be out soon, I encourage all Southeast players to watch it and consider him for your nomination!
Aidan Downey (Jojah player with Jojah bias) here.
All-Region Top 7:
ROTY: Drew Wentworth (Jojah)
Shout-outs:
FSU player here.
First I’ll mention those player to whom I have a bias: Clayton Partlow, August Specht, and Oscar Patterson. These players have demonstrated their commitment to the game and to our team time and time again. They have overdone adversity and sought success and integrity both in and off the field.
Clayton is hands-down one of the best cutters in the region. Being a handler, I swear he gets every other throw from me; the guy is always open.
Augie is a very important player and (Specht)acularly aware of the game from all angles. He is a menace on defense not least because of his insane game knowledge. He’s shifty and has one heck of a head fake, so he’s always open on offense too. And for a little guy, he will still roof you out of nowhere.
Oscar was our main handler last year, and this year stepped up to be The Guy. He’s an insane player all around, and the player who I have tried to emulate most as a developing handler. He is a defensive menace because of his deep knowledge of offensive progressions and sneaky athleticism.
A freshman on our team who deserves mention is Colton Turner. He came from lacrosse and picked up the sport quickly during his first year at college. We played at the Atlantic Coast Open and on just Saturday he had something like 18 goals. I kid you not, this guy is cracked.
Another player I believe deserves attention is Logan Diehl from Florida. He is a do-it-all for UF and has been a frustration for us every time we play them.
A player from UCF who is an absolute Dawg is Waz. He is everywhere all the time and I have not seen him make an error. Truly a great player.
Didn’t have the chance to see much of the Florida teams so this list is a little lacking there. But the top 4 who should be locks and have already been talked about at length by others are:
Adam Miller (Georgia)
Aidan Downey (Georgia)
Kenni Taylor (UAH)
Adam Grossberg (Georgia Tech)
The final 3 I have are:
Jonathan Sillivant (UAH) - The Oline for UAH gets most of the love but this guy holds the D together. His presence on the field makes bucking virtually impossible against this team. Then he turns around and quarterbacks an extremely patient and smooth Dline handler set. Really impressive
Steven Ladenberger (Alabama) - Speaking of quarterbacks, this guy may be the best one in the region. Has great hucks, a bag of break throws, and blades seem to come naturally to him. One of the few players I saw UAH really struggle against this season, and the main reason Alabama took half twice against them. Emory ran a zone and one at regionals to take him out of the game, if that shows you how impactful he is.
Sam Davies (Tulane) - A despised player by basically every team in the region. While what he says to his opponents during games is questionable at best, you can’t deny his presence on the field. A great athlete who is dominant in the deep space. Arguably his biggest impact is when he is crossed over to play defense. He uses his size, length, (trash talking), and physicality to really disrupt the opposing center handler. And if you float a disc too high, he’s eating it up.
Freshman of the year:
The two names I keep seeing are Ty Reimer (Auburn) and Ben Forton (Alabama). One of these two should absolutely win, but I’m going to lean Ty. The impact he is able to make in a game defensively is so huge.
Luke Alexander here from UF.
UGA: Besides Adam and Aidan at Jojah, Scott Whitley and Jake Powell are legit contributors who will give Johah the next step to try and win nattys.
GT: Adam Grossberg is legit. We played them at warm up and it was cool seeing him take the step from standout hyped freshman to a major difference maker on the field.
Tulane, I believe Sam Davies is their tall cutter. He’s a tough guard and was fun chirping back and forth in our regionals game.
UAH: Sillivant and Fleming both stepped up, and adding Kenni put them on top of the rest of the region besides Jojah. The super tall guy Cal also is good and eats up the deep space (he also skied the life out of me in club).
Other Florida boys that are underrated:
Finally I would like to take a second to talk about UF’s Callahan nominee Logan Diehl. He’s not the loudest guy out there and is extremely humble, but his play speaks for itself. If you’ve played us you’ve definitely noticed him.
Also our freshman Mo Jaffa is a lockdown defender and was probably guarding your best handler if we played against you, which is a tough task for any freshman. He definitely stepped up.
In conclusion all region 7:
-Miller
-Downey
-Whitley
-Kenni
-Sillivant
-Diehl
-Grossberg
Generally agre with all of these - one person i haven’t seen mentioned was #14 from tulane. Dont remember his name but he was nice with it
Batson here, Jojah coach.
Being biased means I’d like to put 100% of my stock (if I even have any) into one opinion I feel strongly about. Drew Wentworth is the most deserving freshman from the SE for FOTY. Other teams in the SE have incredible freshmen that were stepping into gaps that were much bigger than Jojah had, but in my opinion if you look at who these players had to play against all season, the impact of Drew as a rookie on UGA has been noticeably more impressive.
Producing blocks, both by reading space, poaching, and winning 1-on-1 unders against O-line starters on Cal Poly, UMass, Vermont, Pitt, etc is impressive for any player. He would have more blocks if he was guarding team’s 6th/7th guy, but he’s typically on the likes of Orme, Graff, McSweeney, etc. and playing stellar defense (at least good enough for us to come out with wins..) Drew is a starting D line player who produces for a top 5 team with a top 5 defense in the nation - the type of energy from a rookie who spurred the older players to realize their spot isn’t safe, and in turn made the rest of the team better at D. Another player who can push Miller & Jake into being challenged, and getting better. No he’s not a white-collar blue blood from YCC, just a home-grown Lambert High School workhorse who I’d imagine will never speak of his own accomplishments in the span of his entire career.
But yeah, Drew Wentworth for SE FOTY, imo.
