Anthony Barela 500 Foot San Francisco Open Ace
During a CTP qualifying round for a $20,000 Ace Contest at the 2019 San Francisco Open, Anthony Barela used his luck up a little early.
Even though he didn’t like it out of his hand, Barela crushed a drive out wide toward the downhill pin 525 feet away. The disc hooked up and skipped just short of the basket, bouncing up and into the chains. Barela got some loose dollars, but we don’t think it added up to 20K.
