What is being included in this disc golf coverage on ESPN2?

The ESPN2 coverage of the Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship will focus on the final round of both MPO (Chris Dickerson, Kevin Jones, Calvin Heimburg, and Austin Hannum) and FPO (Paige Pierce, Catrina Allen, Lisa Fajkus, and Hailey King) with a $20,000 first place prize on the line.

This article goes into more detail about the broadcast, which is being produced by Jomez Productions in collaboration with the DGPT’s Disc Golf Network and Bluefoot Entertainment, a company that specializes in producing content for delivery to ESPN and other sports platforms.

The hope is to create a broadcast that can appeal both to someone who has never watched disc golf before but also to the seasoned fan.

“What we want is that if you’re a disc golfer and you love disc golf, you sit down with your non-disc golfing friend and you both get something out of it,” said DGPT Media Manager Mahmoud Bahrani.
