So, do you live where it’s cold and don’t get out to play as much as you’d like all winter, but still want to scratch your disc golf itch? Maybe you have some basic woodworking skills and free time while you’re snowed in, too. If these characteristics apply to you, then look no further than disc golfer Chris Beyer’s video explaining how he created his Table Top Disc Golf game.

According to the video, Beyer spent less than $16 on all materials. Here his list of parts and tools:

  • 24" x 48" Peg Board (1/4" holes)
  • 8' 1x4 board
  • 4' 1x2 board
  • 36" 1" dowel
  • 36" 1/2" dowel
  • 36" 1/4" dowel
  • 12" pipe cleaners (optional)
  • Wood glue
  • Finishing nails
  • Spray paint and spray poly (optional)
  • Drill
  • 1-1/4" forsner bit (not needed if using tone pole)
  • 1/4" drill bit
  • Saw
  • Hammer
  • Medium and fine sandpaper
Stick around to the end to watch the game-play action and his re-creations of some notable holes at Nokia and Winthrop Gold. I’ll give exactly $2 to the first person who recreates Top of the World at DeLaveaga with the proper slope on their table top disc golf game. And, I’ll give a whole nickel to the first person to re-create all 18 holes of the Eureka temp course and play it with stroke-and-distance.
