According to the video, Beyer spent less than $16 on all materials. Here his list of parts and tools:
- 24" x 48" Peg Board (1/4" holes)
- 8' 1x4 board
- 4' 1x2 board
- 36" 1" dowel
- 36" 1/2" dowel
- 36" 1/4" dowel
- 12" pipe cleaners (optional)
- Wood glue
- Finishing nails
- Spray paint and spray poly (optional)
- Drill
- 1-1/4" forsner bit (not needed if using tone pole)
- 1/4" drill bit
- Saw
- Hammer
- Medium and fine sandpaper
