The Professional Disc Golf Association announced the results of its general elections today, and two new board members will be joining leadership in September.
Illinois native Nate Heinold – who is best known as the tournament director of this week’s Ledgestone Insurance Open – and David Voss – one of the co-founders of the Northern Virginia Disc Golf Association – were elected to fill the two vacancies on the PDGA Board of Directors. The pair will serve three-year terms and replace outgoing Board of Directors President Rebecca Duffy and 12-year veteran Bob Decker. A new president will be elected by fellow board members in September.
In addition, PDGA Europe announced its first slate of elected officials, and a slew of new state coordinators will assume new posts. More details can be seen in the PDGA’s news release on the elections here.
